Planters are wonderful, magical environments. Decorative, attractive, and easy to care for, just plant and forget. Because terrariums recycle their moisture, they need very little attention.
The cube terrarium is a simple and elegant piece of stained glass thought as a planter.
Work perfectly with suculents plants, or, my favourite, with air plants. For those you won't need anything: just the plant (easily available at any plant shop, or online)
This piece of geometry it's build using the copper foil technique.
Every piece is cutted on 2mm float glass. Once grinded, cleaned and dried, it's ready to be copper foiled.
After that it's carefully solder. The finish I use is a black patina, which enhance the contrast of the natural clear light and the drawing lines of the blackened solder. Then it's cleaned, waxed and polished to apperar in front of you ready to be enjoyed.
I make every piece by order. So, any alteration on colour or shape can be done. Just keep in touch with me and I'll tell you how your idea can be done.
