PAINTING ON GLASS

It is a technique used to decorate object  with volume, flat glass for decoration, or more widely use, to insert painted pieces inside a glass window or door

Grisailles are the metallic pigments. Then are fired at  between 580 ° to 600 ° in order to adhere to the glass.

The traditional process is a complicated technique based on overlapping glazes to give volume to the plane. This technique has remained unchanged since the seventeenth century.

The enamel work is slightly different, allowing firing at low or high temperature, and providing vitrified colors brighter.
